who are we and what do we do?
What is Muskoka Indigenous Friends Cultural Centre?
We are a non-profit corporation that is mandated to serve the needs of urban Indigenous people in our region by providing culturally appropriate services, programmes, and supports.
Our Programs
We have programs in Gravenhurst, Ryde, Huntsville, Bracebridge and starting June, 2024–Muskoka Lakes. Some are weekly or monthly. Read more to see what is currently available in your area. We are expanding as we gain more resources and volunteers to implement.
Visit our Shop
As we restore our culture and crafting techniques, several local artisans are ready to show and sell to you. You can buy items here online, on IndigenARTSY.com, or in person in Bracebridge at the Nook & Cranny of Muskoka, and at The Shipyards, located at the Wharf in Gravenhurst.

Hello and Welcome!
Our programming is designed to improve the quality of life for Indigenous people in an urban environment. This is done by supporting self-determined activities which encourages equal access to and participation in Canadian society and which respects Indigenous cultural distinctiveness
By promoting physical, economic, social, and cultural wellbeing through programs that help to build sustainable futures for Indigenous people.
