Greetings from the Board….

Although the Muskoka Indigenous Friends Cultural Centre has been around since 2018, it was only through the hard work of the founding Board of Directors that we were able to take this to the next level. On June 17, 2022 we officially became a non-profit corporation.

The Board has been very busy compiling Bylaws, Policies & Procedures, Anti-Harassment Statements, and so much more behind the scenes. One manual is even the job descriptions of Board Members–which you can check out here.

Gravenhurst activities have been around since the beginning of October, 2018, In 2022, we opened 2 new locations in Ryde and Huntsville that offer monthly gatherings. In 2023, monthly workshops were introduced to Bracebridge. Now in 2024, we are bringing community connection to the Muskoka Lakes region! Great things are in store for 2024.
