Memoralize Orange Ribbon Names

Recently on TRC Day a couple of Gravenhurst residents attended an event at Wahta. There they received 2 ribbons with the names of children who never returned home on them. They lovingly tied them to a tree in their yard. Only to discover the next day that they had been removed.

This gathering is to do something to address this. We are going to create multiple ribbons with the names of these children on them. Then we will proceed to find ways and places to boldly display them around town. We are going to find a way to honour these 2 children who never returned home from Residential School.
