GRAVENHURST–Feather Harvesting, Part 2
April 15 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Last week we plucked an entire wild turkey carcass. Saving wing and tail portions. All the feathers are currently having a bath and getting ready for more processing in part 2.
Feathers will eventually be used for a variety of upcoming community activities such as:
- Smudge Feathers
- Talking Feathers
- Wing Fans, specifically for our Anishinaabe FN members
- Dreamcatchers
- and more
