EVENING–Gravenhurst–Indigenous Christians Circle

DISCLAIMER: This is a community requested activity and is aimed at those specifically looking to decolonize their Indigenous Christian walk. A safe place for Indigenous Christians.
Led by Robin Ingham, Métis from the Midland/Penetanguishene area with a diverse and fulfilling background. She earned her Master of Divinity from Tyndale seminary where she began her beautiful journey of studying Scripture in its original languages and interpreting it from an Indigenous perspective. Robin currently serves as Community Outreach Coordinator for The Salvation Army South Muskoka Ministries in Bracebridge and loves seeing the sacredness that each new day brings.
The four parts of the Medicine Wheel include:
- Physical
- Mental
- Emotional
- Spiritual
This Spiritual Healing Time is focused on the Spiritual section of the Medicine Wheel.
This group is aimed at those looking for Christian fellowship with other Indigenous community members. The challenge of balancing beliefs with culture under the rule of colonization is hard to come to terms with. This will include talking circle, drumming (Indigenous Christian worship), Bible Study, and will be led by the needs and direction of this specific element of the urban Indigenous community of Muskoka.
