Hello board and members of MIFC. I am very happy to introduce myself! My name is Yvonne Hughes, most commonly known as Vonnie. I am of the Tlingit clan that originated in Alaska and migrated to the Yukon Territory. I was adopted at the age of two, and did not know much of my native heritage but have been learning a lot over the past few years. We can never stop learning! In finding myself, I hope I can also help others. I am proud to be a part of the MIFC family and community and understand the value it offers our community. I will do the best I can to help our growth and assist in community awareness as I learn more myself. I'm very happy to meet you all 😊
