Come and learn how to make a willow hoop dreamcatcher with Rama FN member, Christine. Funding for this program has been provided by the Community Enhancement Grant from The District Municipality of Muskoka. And a special thank you to St James Anglican Church for providing free use of space for our weekly events.
Using quills from a recently harvest porcupine, participants will make a simple looped earring with quills. Adults and youth aged 10 years and older will enjoy this activity and learning more about porcupines. This programming is made possible by the Community Enhancement Grant from the District of Muskoka.
Volunteers will be setting up from 9 am to noon in preparation for our Back to School Clothing Giveaway event in partnership with Free Stuff 4 Daily Needs. Clothing donations can be dropped off to St James Anglican Church between 9 and 11 am this day.
PLEASE NOTE EARLIER CLOSING TIME--due to needing to cleanup totally after this event, we need a few hours and the energy to do so. WE WILL BE CLOSING AT 2 PM.
