SUMMARY:Bracebridge--Tobacco Ties
DESCRIPTION:To some\, making tobacco ties is commonplace\, however\, to others it isn’t. This activity is to introduce members reconnecting to their culture a safe place to ask questions\, learn more about the sacred medicines\, and protocol on approaching Elders with tobacco ties. \nLater this month if attending any TRC activities\, a tobacco tie might just come in handy. \nThis programming is funded by the Community Grant from the Town of Bracebridge and space provided by the Bracebridge Public Library.

SUMMARY:Gravenhurst--Orange Ribbon Quilt
DESCRIPTION:In 2021 over 6\,000 orange ribbons were tied at the Silver Bridge in Bracebridge. After they were taken down it was determined that these ribbons would be used in an ongoing teaching tool. A Community Quilt. However\, it takes time and a lot of sewers\, experienced or not\, to come together and work on quilt blocks. \nWill you join us as we blitz work on the quilt in September?
