In June\, a special Drum Birthing Ceremony was held. Now comes the next step–2 weeks to work on making quilted drum bags to protect your hand drums and make a safe way to transport them to events\, pow wows\, and drumming circles. This is week 2.

DESCRIPTION:The Tall Pines Music Festival is presenting a musical and shopping experience at the Gravenhurst Wharf. \nBringing together the community for a day with unique bands\, musicians\, singers\, vendors\, delicious food and refreshing drinks. This is the perfect opportunity to come out\, socialize with friends and neighbours\, and celebrate the Gravenhurst community. \nFRIDAY\, JUNE 16\, 2023 2 PM TO 11 PM\nSATURDAY\, JUNE 17TH\, 2023  2 PM TO 11:00 PM\n\nOver 14 vendors\, refreshing drinks\, delicious food\, and plenty of fun for the whole family. \nDuring this National Indigenous Month\, come and check out the Muskoka Indigenous Friendship Centre booth where you can talk to Board members\, buy authentic and locally made Indigenous artworks and more. \nCome out and join us for a day of fun and celebration in Gravenhurst. DESCRIPTION:The first of our 2023 Bracebridge workshops is happening. Today we will be sewing simple felt Strawberries with beads . Strawberry Teachings along with some Cedar Teachings will be presented. \nOur 2023 Bracebridge Workshop location is the Bracebridge Public Library. We will be in the upper level in the historic side of the building. Come\, learn a skill\,  teachings\, and build community friendship. All materials supplied free\, and free to participate. \nPre-registration is required — limit 12 participants.
